Dressed sardines

Ingredients

1 can of sardines in olive oil

1 small shallot

2 Cilantro stems, chopped

1 Dill stem, de-stemmed and chopped

1 tsp of fennel seeds

1 tsp of sumac

Salt and pepper

Juice and zest of half a lemon

Instructions

1) Remove sardines from can and place on a plate.

2) Season with salt and pepper. Cover with sumac, fennel seeds, shallots, and lemon zest. Add lemon juice and oil from the can (or olive oil if too strong for you). Top with herbs.
